When I saw this Gold Necklace in Jaipur Gems I immediately knew it would be a Showstopper. I mean just look at the work. It’s not just a piece of jewelry, it’s an Art and the sheer size makes it look so magnificent. The challenge for me was to make it more wearable in a way that looks like a part of the ensemble. I styled it with a Black jumpsuit with high neck so that it sits pretty at the neck. According to me Black provides the perfect backdrop for Gold. I am always drawn towards Black n Gold.
I love making Bold statements and this statement Ornate piece does just that for me. This gorgeous beauty transported me to the palaces of Rajasthan. I am sure the queens in that era must be wearing something like this. Remember Aishwarya in Jodha Akbar!
I usually like to wear dainty pieces but I was drawn towards this traditional yet contemporary design. Thanks to LoveGold I am getting an opportunity to discover the best in Indian Craftsmanship and getting to style such bold pieces with a modern twist. I felt like I was in a Gold Wonderland at Jaipur Gems and wanted to try out more pieces but for now I settled with this breathtaking (enormously big for me )necklace. Although it is good enough as a standalone piece, I decided to team it with a Gold Kamarbandh which honestly was a Hair accessory. It’s supposed to be a braid ornament but look at my hair?!?! I had a genius idea to tie it around my waist and use it as a belt to complete the whole look
What do you guys think.. Pls do leave a feedback
