It’s gonna be the last post of 2014 and I am so glad that this year has come to an end. It’s been kind of rough and turbulent & I have been through more lows rather than ups in this past year. I experienced shades of me which i never thought I had. Sometimes even I would refuse to recognize myself. I suffered through a serious case of depression & felt very alone at times. I would breakdown at a drop of a hat. The challenge has been to gather my wits and move past these seemingly unsurmountable obstacles. I have failed innumerably & lost my way a multitude of times but in the end I am glad that I have not lost my marbles yet hahaha. Nonetheless, No Regrets because this is what makes life’s experiences and hopefully one day we will look back and laugh at our follies. I guess everyone is allowed their share of stupid. Right??
Anyway as we countdown the hours that lead us to 2015, I am certain many of you like me are looking at the coming year with a whole lot of hope, optimism & belief that it will bring happiness and prosperity in our lives. For me this vacation has been such a breather & a kind of harbinger of things to come. I am so looking forward to 2015 all bright eyed and bushy tailed.
As far as the rest of the world was concerned I do not remember anything major happening except for
The Soccer world cup fever that gripped our nation and me discovering some more hotties apart from Christiano Ronaldo
Never before have elections seen this kind of euphoria and we wholeheartedly welcomed Mr Modi as our new PM.
Deepika Padukone & Karan Johar made their foray into the world of Fashion by designing a limited edition range for Van Heusen & Vero Moda respectively. Sadly, None of them I liked
Birkenstocks & Crop Tops were the summer staples
Michael Schumacher’s news turned out to be the saddest at the beginning of this year followed by Malaysian Airlines’ mysterious disappearance & lastly Oscar De la Renta’s demise which was a huge loss to the fashion industry.
Overall 2014 seemed like a blur & lukewarm of sorts so here’s hoping that 2015 will have much more to cheer for and I will have a whole lot of awesome things to tell you at the end of the year and also through the year. So let’s raise our glasses to welcome 2015 and bid adieu to the year gone by. I would also like to thank you all for all your love and support towards my blog. It’s been a great journey and you all have helped me to reach this far.
With 2015 just round the corner all I want to say is that Time is precious so let’s make the most of it because you will never be any younger than you are today. Have fun & live every minute of your life like you really really mean it. Have a fit, fabulous & a very fashionable 2015
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU & YOUR LOVED ONES
Cheers to health, wealth, happiness & prosperity
Signing off for 2014, see you all in 2015 people. Till then be good!!
