We knew people are crazy about Lady Gaga but this is going a little too far & this time it's her best friend Nicola Formichetti ,the creative director of Mugler. Nicola's best friend Gaga has always been an inspiration behind his designs so this time what inspired him - Her Butt!!

In his first ever foray into Leather handbags, Formichetti has made a 30 piece collection for his S/S' 13 season inspired by Gaga's derriere. To me these bags look more Celine inspired than Lady Gaga. A few pictures are leaked, have a look.

Velvet Vixen

We all remember Angie's Right leg sexy snap captured by every magazine, blog, fashion sites, news sites, Newspapers all across the word. It created such a flutter that media and the cyber world went crazy with  twitter handles & FB Pages being created. Why wouldn't it be, she was looking drop dead gorgeous and we were captivated with the look for days to come. Now, if only we could get past that pose and the leg we would have noticed the fabric of the gown - Yes, it was Velvet.  It was probably  the sign of what's gonna be big in the coming season. Not just the Leg silly... but the fabric as well.

Velvet like Leather is the fabric for the season. Almost every designer showcased this fabric on the Runway.

I have always associated Velvet with Emperors Gowns and Regals embellished with Jewels etc so its only befitting to see the Royalty wearing it as a latest trend.

I must say looking at models strutting down the runway wearing this fabric for all the major fashion houses surely makes me wanna try Velvet  at least once.

Velvet is a tricky fabric and can be slightly overwhelming unless you are Angelina Jolie :)) but If you still wish to try it out, mix it with some other fabric and try it on like Leighton Meester.

Our Indian designers use Velvet a lot in tandem with other fabrics & they use it very well.  It could be in Blouses, or as borders or even strips mixed with other fabric. It works really well with the look and makes the ensemble very rich and elegant like Deepika & Priyanka are wearing Velvet blouses

Sweet- meets -Sexy Ankle Straps

Hola everyone.. Wassup with you all.  I have been busy with a few things hence couldn't post much this week. Hope you all caught up with my FuFie of the month and enjoyed reading LOTW & Style picks of the week. Coming back to what's hot this season.

If you ask for one instant Glam tip from me I will say just wear your shoes the highest you can. Nothing and just Nothing can make or break an outfit, the way heels do. It's imperative to have some excellent looking beauties in your wardrobe. Now, heels is a very broad category. They come in various, forms, shapes , sizes. They keep changing as per the footwear trend but a classic sexy pair will never go out of style so do not wait ,buy a pair now.
This season sees the return of Ankle Strap sandals in a big way & I know many of you will have these in your collection. It's just time to take these out and flaunt them with some beautiful dresses. Ankle Straps were seen a lot on the Runway and are the latest fascination with the industry. These will never go out of fashion and in a way can be considered a classic pair depending on the stye you buy.

While boots are the quintessential choice of shoe for F/W, they do not help you much when you wish to wear those pretty outfits. Also Boots are not feasible for everyone especially the ones living in humid climates. That's where the elegant Ankle straps come in. These sweet - meets - sexy design lends a cool  vibe to the entire ensemble.
